My capstone project
The questions: What is the cost of conducting economics without ethics? Are the two compatible?
In an economic system where the end goal for both consumers and businessmen is seemingly to make as much money as possible, where does ethics, phrased simply as "doing the right thing", fit in? I plan to study specific examples where business was conducted with a stark lack of ethics, as well as business conducted ethically, and compare the end results. Then, to conclude, I plan on examining whether it's possible for business and economics to go hand in hand in our current economic system.
